Frequently asked questions
What does the fixed fee include?
Consideration of your brief and key documents for a focused question, a 45-minute video consultation and a short written note within two working days of the call.
Can my client join the call?
Yes, by arrangement. Your firm remains the instructing party, and our engagement stays with your firm.
What if the question needs more than 45 minutes?
We will explain what can be addressed within the consultation and identify any further work needed. Additional work is separately scoped and quoted, with the £295 fee credited if you proceed on the same matter.
Can I book for an urgent deadline?
Check the booking calendar for available appointments. If your deadline falls before the next available slot, contact us before booking so we can confirm whether we can help.
Can I pass the written note to my client?
The note is prepared for your firm’s use and reliance. It is not a client-addressed advice letter. If your client needs advice they can rely on directly, tell us so we can agree an appropriate scope.
